THE FINER DETAILS
Your questions, answered.
-
Every project is quoted individually, as no two are alike. Once we understand your pieces, quantities and finishes, we send a proposal that lists every item and cost so there are no surprises. A 50% deposit of the design fee secures your booking.
-
Your investment is split into two parts: the design fee and printing. The design fee covers our time, concepts and refinement, with 50 per cent paid as your deposit and the balance due once artwork is approved.
Printing is invoiced separately at that point, and once paid, your pieces go to print. Shipping is included in your quote where noted, and any additions along the way are quoted before they are added.
Content creation is invoiced as a package. A 50 per cent non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the balance due 14 days before your event. Any additional coverage hours or travel outside our local area are quoted upfront and added to your final invoice.

The earlier the better. Booking ahead locks in your date and your place in our schedule, and gives us time to design and print without rushing. As a guide, invitations are best started six to eight months out, while on the day stationery and signage can come a little later, with custom signage needing a minimum of four weeks.

Not exactly, and this is an important one. Screens display colour in light while print uses ink on paper, so every printed piece will vary slightly from what you see on your phone or computer. Different stocks also take ink differently, with textured and coloured papers softening or shifting tones. We work carefully with our printers to get as close as possible and will flag anything likely to shift before you approve, but a degree of variation is a natural part of bespoke printing and is not considered an error. This is set out in our design agreement, which is sent with your deposit invoice and accepted on payment, so please read it before we begin.

Digital print, letterpress, foil, blind emboss, white ink on coloured stock and die cutting, across a curated range of fine papers. We work with trusted Australian printers and manage the whole process, from file preparation to quality checks. Specialty finishes usually have a minimum run of 50.
That said, we love working with new and unexpected materials, from linen and satin to chrome, acrylic and leather. If you have a vision, bring it to us and we will find a way to make it happen.
-
Not at all. Weddings are where we began, but our work extends to engagements, milestone birthdays, baby showers, product launches, corporate events and brand collateral. The same goes for content creation, where we capture weddings, launches, events and brand moments with the same considered eye. Whatever the occasion, we bring a timeless, refined approach to every piece. If it deserves to be beautifully made or beautifully captured, we would love to hear about it.
-
Two rounds of feedback are included on each piece. We gather your direction thoroughly upfront, so most clients find this is plenty. Further rounds are available and quoted before we begin.

Sometimes. If your date falls inside our usual timelines, get in touch and we will tell you honestly what is possible. Rush fees may apply.
